Course description
The accounting and finance industry is now more competitive than ever and goes beyond simply having a degree or AAT. In order to stand out from the crowd, candidates are required to have accountancy work experience and an understanding of the key computerised packages such as Sage & Microsoft Excel.
The 3-month job placement programme provides everything you need to become fully qualified in a variety of software packages and equipped yourself with the skills necessary to secure accounting jobs. Once you have completed the accountancy work placement programme you will gain an accredited certification and three months of remote finance work experience.

Accounting Work Experience
We guarantee 12 weeks accounting work experience. The accounting programme can equip you with the expertise required to secure a role.
A few examples of the duties you could be expected to carry out during your job placement are;
- Preparing working paper files with reconciliations from complete and partial records.
- Review bookkeeping and VAT work.
- Bookkeeping, VAT, preparation of management accounts, and preparation of self-assessment returns.
- Assist with preparation of tax computation schedules and UK corporation tax returns.
- To ensure that we have complete accounting records in advance of accounts preparation.
- Assisting the senior accountants with preparing statutory financial statements.
- Fixed asset registers creation, maintenance, and reconciliation.
- Reconciling bank, PAYE, VAT & corporation tax, current and long-term liabilities.
Duration
Online training period: 4-12 Weeks (this can be extended if required*)
Assessment: To pass the course learners are required to successfully pass an online MCQ examination.
